Boston Patients Love Our Practice
I have been a patient of Dr. James Stein since June 2021. At that time, having recently moved to Boston after twenty years in a foreign country, I had a number of outstanding dental issues. I am extremely happy with all the dental work that has been performed by Dr. Stein, and I have total confidence in him and his colleagues. The office is very professional, but also welcoming and relaxed. My jaw tends to lock during lengthy dental procedures, but I am happy to report that I had no problems in that regard during any of these procedures. Dr. Stein was very careful to allow me moments to let my jaw relax so it didn’t lock up. I am definitely smiling more now. Thank you, Dr. Stein!
View on GoogleFrom setting up our appointments through Robin, to our comprehensive consultation with Dr. Stein and to the final beautiful results from his work, my two girls ages 17 and 19 are both pleased with the look and feel he's given their teeth. Both girls were born with a gene failure that caused them over 10 missing secondary/permanent teeth each. Dr. Stein's name came to us highly recommended by our excellent pediatric dentist. After our initial visit and consultation Dr. Stein thoughtfully designed specific plans for each child and upon our acceptance we were seen again shortly after. And with just one visit a whole lot was accomplished. Both girls are happy with the results. I sincerely recommend him to anyone in need of his skills.

Advanced Dental Technology
Used at Our Boston Practice
CAD/CAM
If you need ceramic crowns or veneers, CAD/CAM technology allows us to craft your restoration in as little as an hour. This saves patients time, as they can receive their restoration in one appointment.
Scanning Technology
Our prosthodontists use PlanScan, 3 Shape, and Cadent iTero® scanning technology during planning to enhance treatment accuracy. Digital scanning allows our doctors to take accurate impressions of your mouth. No need for messy putty impressions that are often uncomfortable. These digital impressions are used to craft custom dental restorations such as crowns, veneers, and bridges.
Computer-Guided Implant Placement
Computer-guided implant placement allows Dr. Stein to expertly place your dental implants, without incisions or sutures. This reduces your healing time and pain during recovery.
Trios® 3-D Scanner
This intraoral camera allows your dentist to take a picture of your mouth. These pictures are sent straight to the computer and to your digital chart to diagnose and plan treatment.
Panoramic X-Ray
Panoramic X-ray reduces your exposure to radiation as it takes a full X-ray of your mouth in one image. These images also allow Dr. Stein to more accurately diagnose and treat each patient.
Implants
Dental implants can provide a host of oral health benefits. Our prosthodontists use Nobel Biocare, Straumann, and 3i, leaders in implant technology.
