Dental Bonding

Even the smallest stains, chips, and cracks can make a big difference for your teeth. In one easy visit, dental bonding can fix you up with a fresh smile and newfound confidence. James M. Stein DMD and his 35 years of dentistry experience make him the best for bonding in Boston, MA.

What Can Dental Bonding Fix?

A nice bright smile isn't just for other people to admire. Nearly 1 in 3 Americans say the condition of their teeth makes life less satisfying. By applying tooth-colored resin to your teeth, Dr. Stein and his son, Brett E. Stein, can conceal a variety of cosmetic issues, including:

Chipped, cracked, or damaged teeth

Uneven and
misshapen teeth

Worn-down enamel

Gaps between teeth

Discolored teeth

There are also numerous benefits beyond just the cosmetic. Bonding can improve your dental health by filling cavities, protecting roots, and treating sensitive teeth.

More than any reason, Americans say cost is why they avoid dental treatment. Bonding is cost-effective and Dr. Stein accepts financing.

Is Dental Bonding Right For You?

During your visit to our office, make sure to explain the goals you want to achieve with dental bonding. Our dentists have all the experience and skill necessary to evaluate whether you are an ideal candidate. Thanks to its relative ease and affordability, this procedure is the right choice for many minor dental needs.

In some cases, existing tooth damage and decay can be too severe for bonding. If that happens to be your situation, Dr. Stein will determine how to resolve your current oral health issues before moving on to bonding.

Once you've made your choice, all you need to do is set up your appointment. No other preparation is needed.

Now you're just a simple five-step process from a brand new you!

Your dentist will create a custom tooth-colored composite resin that blends in with the shade of your natural teeth.
The treated tooth is prepared for bonding and covered with a liquid adhesive.
The composite resin is placed and formed into the proper shape.
The material is cured and hardened, sealing the bond to your tooth.
A final trim and polish is conducted to ensure the perfect shape.
You are now ready to go and show off your shiny new smile! Dr. Stein has performed dental bondings that last for over a decade. He will explain the easy steps for taking care of your new dental investment.

Dr. Stein is wonderful! His dental restoration work is impeccable and his aesthetic sense is amazing. He's a true artist restoring the four front teeth that I damaged in a bike accident back to a natural and lovely smile. In addition, he exhibited genuine concern for my well-being and comfort ensuring that I did not experience any discomfort during or after my procedures.

Dr. James Stein is a world-class dentist. I was referred to him years ago by a renowned periodontist because my mouth's challenges require the expertise of a highly trained, innovative and meticulous professional. For nearly three decades, Dr. Stein has provided me and my family with superior care. The emergency temporary bonding that he did on my high school daughter's badly chipped front tooth lasted for eleven years.
